Heat the remaining sesame oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
Place the salmon fillet in the skillet and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
Reduce the heat to low and pour the glaze into the skillet, spooning it continuously over the salmon for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens into a glossy coating.
Transfer the salmon to a plate, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and serve immediately with the roasted asparagus.
