Sesame Beef & Broccoli Stir-Fry
Tender flank steak and crisp broccoli florets are flash-seared in a savory ginger-garlic sauce for a vibrant and aromatic stir-fry.
INGREDIENTS
7 oz Flank steak
2 cup Broccoli florets
1 tsp Sesame oil
2 tbsp Tamari
1 tsp Fresh ginger
2 clove Garlic
1 tsp Arrowroot powder
0.25 tsp Red pepper flakes
1 tsp Sesame seeds
1 tbsp Water
PREPARATION
Whisk the tamari, water, minced ginger, minced garlic, and arrowroot powder in a small bowl until the powder is fully dissolved.
Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until it begins to shimmer.
Add the thinly sliced flank steak in a single layer and sear without moving for 2 minutes, then flip and cook for another minute until browned.
Add the broccoli florets and red pepper flakes to the skillet, tossing with the beef for 3 to 4 minutes until the broccoli is bright green and tender-crisp.
Pour the prepared sauce over the mixture and toss constantly for 1 minute as the glaze thickens and coats the beef and vegetables.
Remove the skillet from the heat and garnish the dish with toasted sesame seeds before serving immediately.
