Garlic Herb Roasted Steak and Potatoes
Pan-seared sirloin steak paired with crisp roasted baby potatoes and green beans, all infused with the aroma of fresh rosemary and garlic.
INGREDIENTS
5 oz Sirloin steak
0.75 cup Baby potatoes
1 cup Green beans
0.5 tsp Extra virgin olive oil
1 clove Garlic
0.5 tsp Fresh rosemary
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Halve the baby potatoes and toss them on the baking sheet with 1 teaspoon of olive oil, chopped rosemary, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Roast the potatoes for 15 minutes, then add the trimmed green beans to the same sheet and roast for another 10 minutes until tender.
While the vegetables roast, season the sirloin steak on both sides with the remaining salt, pepper, and minced garlic.
Heat the remaining teaspoon of olive oil in a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak for 3 to 4 minutes per side for medium-rare.
Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain to serve alongside the roasted vegetables.
