While the chicken cooks, bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the gnocchi until they float to the surface, then drain immediately.
Remove the chicken from the skillet, let it rest for 2 minutes, then slice into bite-sized strips.
In the same skillet over medium heat, add the cooked gnocchi, sliced chicken, baby spinach, and halved cherry tomatoes.
Stir in the basil pesto and toss everything together until the spinach is wilted and the gnocchi is beautifully coated.
