Teriyaki Glazed Salmon with Roasted Asparagus
Pan-seared salmon fillet glazed in a savory-sweet ginger sauce, served with crisp-tender roasted asparagus for a vibrant and nourishing meal.
INGREDIENTS
7 oz Salmon fillet
1 cup Asparagus spears
1 tbsp Coconut aminos
1 tsp Raw honey
1 tsp Toasted sesame oil
0.5 tsp Fresh ginger
1 clove Garlic
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
1 tsp Sesame seeds
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the coconut aminos, raw honey, grated fresh ginger, and minced garlic to create the teriyaki glaze.
Trim the woody ends off the asparagus and place the spears on one side of the prepared baking sheet.
Drizzle the asparagus with toasted sesame oil and sprinkle with sea salt and black pepper, tossing to coat evenly.
Place the salmon fillet on the other side of the baking sheet and brush half of the prepared teriyaki glaze over the top of the fish.
Roast in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork and the asparagus is tender.
Remove from the oven, brush the remaining glaze over the salmon, and garnish the entire dish with sesame seeds before serving.
