Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Trim the woody ends off the asparagus spears and spread them in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Drizzle the asparagus with 0.5 tbsp of olive oil and sprinkle with half of the sea salt and black pepper.
In a small bowl, combine the dried oregano, garlic powder, lemon zest, and the remaining salt and pepper.
Pat the chicken breast dry with a paper towel and coat both sides evenly with the herb seasoning blend.
Heat the remaining 1 tbsp of olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear the chicken for 3 to 4 minutes per side until a golden-brown crust forms.
Place the asparagus in the oven and transfer the skillet with the chicken to the oven as well.
Roast everything for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F and the asparagus is tender.
Remove from the oven and drizzle the fresh lemon juice over both the chicken and asparagus before serving.
