Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Place the chicken breast between two sheets of parchment paper and pound to an even half-inch thickness.
Set up two shallow bowls: in the first, whisk the egg; in the second, combine the almond flour, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, oregano, sea salt, and black pepper.
Dip the chicken breast into the egg wash, then dredge it through the almond flour mixture, pressing firmly to ensure an even coating on all sides.
Heat the avocado oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear the chicken for 3 minutes per side until the coating is golden and crispy.
Spread the marinara sauce over the top of the chicken and sprinkle with the mozzarella cheese.
Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly.
While the chicken bakes, lightly sauté the zucchini noodles in a separate pan for 2 minutes until tender but not mushy.
Serve the crispy chicken over the zucchini noodles and garnish with freshly chopped basil.
