Seared Salmon with Garlic Green Beans and Brown Rice
Pan-seared salmon fillet served with crisp-tender garlic green beans and nutty brown rice, finished with a squeeze of zesty fresh lemon.
INGREDIENTS
4.2 ounces Wild Salmon Fillet
1 cup cooked Brown Rice
1 cup fresh Green Beans
1 tablespoon Avocado Oil
2 cloves Garlic
PREPARATION
Cook the brown rice according to package instructions until tender.
Pat the salmon fillet dry with a paper towel and season both sides with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Heat half of the avocado oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
Place the salmon skin-side down in the pan and sear for 4 to 5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
Flip the fillet and cook for another 3 to 4 minutes until the salmon is cooked through.
Remove the salmon from the pan and set aside.
Add the remaining oil to the same skillet along with the green beans and minced garlic.
Sauté the beans for 5 to 7 minutes until they are bright green and crisp-tender.
Plate the salmon and garlic green beans over the warm brown rice and serve immediately.
