Seared Salmon with Garlic Green Beans and Brown Rice
Pan-seared salmon with a crispy skin served alongside garlic-sautéed green beans and fluffy brown rice.
INGREDIENTS
7 ounces Salmon Fillet
1/2 cup Cooked Brown Rice
1 1/2 cups Fresh Green Beans
1/2 teaspoon Olive Oil
1 clove Garlic, minced
PREPARATION
Pat the salmon fillet dry with a paper towel and season both sides with a pinch of sea salt and black pepper.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and lightly coat with the olive oil.
Place the salmon skin-side down in the hot pan and sear for 4-5 minutes until the skin is golden and crispy.
Flip the salmon and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
While the salmon cooks, steam the green beans in a small amount of water for 3 minutes until tender-crisp, then drain.
In the same pan used for the salmon, quickly sauté the minced garlic and steamed green beans for 1 minute until fragrant.
Serve the seared salmon and garlic green beans over a bed of warm cooked brown rice.
