Teriyaki Glazed Salmon with Roasted Asparagus
Oven-roasted salmon fillet brushed with a savory-sweet ginger glaze and served alongside charred, tender asparagus for a vibrant and nutrient-dense meal.
INGREDIENTS
7 oz Salmon fillet
1 cup Asparagus spears
1 tsp Olive oil
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
1 tbsp Coconut aminos
1 tsp Honey
0.5 tsp Fresh ginger
1 clove Garlic
1 tsp Sesame seeds
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Trim the woody ends off the asparagus spears and arrange them on one side of the baking sheet.
Drizzle the asparagus with olive oil and season with sea salt and black pepper, tossing to coat evenly.
Place the salmon fillet on the other side of the baking sheet.
In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the coconut aminos, honey, grated fresh ginger, and minced garlic.
Brush approximately half of the glaze mixture over the top and sides of the salmon fillet.
Roast for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the asparagus is tender and lightly charred.
Remove from the oven, drizzle the remaining glaze over the salmon, and garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
