Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a small baking sheet with parchment paper.
Trim the woody ends off the asparagus and place them on the baking sheet. Drizzle with 0.5 tbsp olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder and a pinch of salt and pepper. Toss to coat and roast for 12-15 minutes.
While the asparagus roasts, drain the canned tuna thoroughly and place it in a medium mixing bowl.
Add the egg, almond flour, Dijon mustard, chopped scallions, lemon juice, sea salt, and black pepper to the tuna. Mix well with a fork until the ingredients are fully incorporated.
Form the tuna mixture into two equal-sized patties, pressing firmly so they hold their shape.
Heat the remaining 0.5 tbsp of olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
Place the patties in the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes per side, or until a golden-brown crust has formed and the patties are heated through.
Remove the roasted asparagus from the oven and serve immediately alongside the hot tuna patties.
