PREPARATION
Steam the frozen edamame pods in a steamer basket over boiling water for 5 minutes until tender, then drain and set aside.
Heat the toasted sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet, sautéing for 30 seconds until highly aromatic.
Add the shrimp to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
Toss in the steamed edamame pods, tamari, red pepper flakes, and sea salt, stirring constantly for 2 minutes to coat everything in the glaze.
Transfer to a bowl and garnish with toasted sesame seeds before serving hot.
