Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Peel the sweet potato and cut it into 1/2-inch cubes, then trim the woody ends off the asparagus spears.
Place the sweet potato cubes on the baking sheet, drizzle with half of the olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper, and toss to coat.
Roast the sweet potatoes for 15 minutes, then move them to one side of the pan and add the asparagus to the other side.
Drizzle the asparagus with the remaining olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper, then roast everything for another 10 to 12 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
While the vegetables roast, heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add the ground turkey, breaking it into small crumbles with a spatula.
Season the turkey with garlic powder, dried oregano, and the remaining salt and pepper, cooking until browned and no longer pink.
Divide the roasted sweet potatoes, asparagus, and seasoned turkey between plates and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
