In a separate shallow dish, combine the almond flour, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, sea salt, and black pepper.
Dip the chicken breast into the egg white, then press it firmly into the almond flour mixture until both sides are thoroughly coated.
Heat the avocado oil in a medium oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until the crust is beautifully golden and crisp.
Spread the marinara sauce over the top of the chicken and sprinkle with the mozzarella cheese.
Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the chicken is cooked through.
Garnish with freshly chopped basil before serving.
