Sesame Beef & Broccoli Stir-Fry
Sautéed lean flank steak and crisp broccoli florets tossed in an aromatic ginger-garlic sauce for a satisfying and savory meal.
INGREDIENTS
5.5 oz Flank steak
2 cups Broccoli florets
0.5 tsp Sesame oil
2 tbsp Coconut aminos
1 tsp Fresh ginger
2 cloves Garlic
1 tsp Arrowroot powder
1 tbsp Water
0.25 tsp Red pepper flakes
0.5 tsp Toasted sesame seeds
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
PREPARATION
Thinly slice the flank steak against the grain into bite-sized strips.
In a small bowl, whisk together the coconut aminos, grated ginger, minced garlic, and arrowroot powder until smooth.
Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the beef strips to the hot skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes until browned, then remove and set aside.
Add the broccoli florets and water to the same skillet, covering with a lid for 2 minutes to steam until tender-crisp.
Return the beef to the skillet and pour the sauce over the mixture, stirring constantly for 1 minute until the sauce thickens and coats everything.
Season with sea salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Garnish with toasted sesame seeds before serving.
