Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Peel and cube the sweet potato into 1-inch pieces.
Toss the sweet potato cubes with one teaspoon of avocado oil and a pinch of salt on a large baking sheet.
Roast the sweet potatoes for 15 minutes.
While the potatoes roast, trim the woody ends off the asparagus and season with salt and pepper.
Add the asparagus to the baking sheet with the potatoes and roast for an additional 10-12 minutes.
Season the steak on both sides with salt, pepper, and dried rosemary.
Heat a heavy cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat with the remaining teaspoon of avocado oil.
Sear the steak for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired doneness.
Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.
Serve the sliced steak alongside the roasted sweet potatoes and asparagus.
