Seared Salmon Fillet with Garlic Green Beans and Brown Rice
Pan-seared wild salmon served with crisp garlic-sautéed green beans and fluffy brown rice, finished with a squeeze of zesty lemon.
INGREDIENTS
7 ounces Wild Atlantic Salmon
0.5 cup Cooked Brown Rice
1.5 cups Green Beans
1 teaspoon Avocado Oil
2 cloves Garlic
PREPARATION
Prepare the brown rice according to package instructions or reheat pre-cooked rice until steaming.
Trim the ends of the green beans and mince the garlic cloves.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat with half of the avocado oil.
Season the salmon fillet with salt and pepper then place it skin-side down in the hot pan.
Sear the salmon for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until desired doneness is reached.
Remove the salmon from the pan and set aside to rest.
In the same skillet add the remaining oil and the green beans with a splash of water.
Cover and steam for 3 minutes then add the minced garlic and sauté until the beans are tender-crisp and fragrant.
Serve the seared salmon alongside the garlic green beans and fluffy brown rice with a fresh lemon wedge.
