Savory Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry
Sautéed strips of lean beef and crisp broccoli florets tossed in a savory ginger-soy glaze, served over a bed of fluffy jasmine rice.
INGREDIENTS
10 oz Flank steak
2 cup Broccoli florets
1 cup Cooked jasmine rice
1 tbsp Avocado oil
1 tsp Toasted sesame oil
2 tbsp Coconut aminos
1 tsp Fresh ginger
2 clove Garlic
1 tsp Honey
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
1 tsp Sesame seeds
PREPARATION
Slice the flank steak against the grain into thin strips and season evenly with sea salt and black pepper.
In a small bowl, whisk together the coconut aminos, honey, and toasted sesame oil to create the stir-fry sauce.
Heat the avocado oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat until it begins to shimmer.
Add the beef strips in a single layer and sear for 2 minutes until deeply browned, then remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
Add the broccoli florets to the same pan with a splash of water, covering with a lid for 2 minutes to steam-fry until vibrant green.
Remove the lid and stir in the minced garlic and grated fresh ginger, cooking for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Return the beef to the pan and pour the prepared sauce over the mixture, tossing continuously until the sauce is thickened and glossy.
Serve the stir-fry immediately over the warm jasmine rice and garnish with sesame seeds.
