Sesame Beef & Broccoli Stir-Fry
Sautéed lean beef strips and crisp broccoli florets tossed in a savory ginger-tamari glaze that coats every bite with a rich, toasted aroma.
INGREDIENTS
8 oz Flank steak
2 cup Broccoli florets
1 tbsp Tamari
1 tsp Toasted sesame oil
1 tsp Avocado oil
1 tsp Fresh ginger
1 clove Garlic
1 tsp Sesame seeds
1 tbsp Water
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
PREPARATION
Slice the flank steak against the grain into thin strips and season with the sea salt and black pepper.
In a small bowl, whisk together the tamari, toasted sesame oil, minced ginger, and minced garlic to create the stir-fry sauce.
Heat the avocado oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Add the beef strips in a single layer and sear for 2 to 3 minutes until browned and caramelized, then remove from the pan and set aside.
Add the broccoli florets to the same pan with the water, covering with a lid for 2 minutes to steam until tender-crisp.
Return the beef to the pan, pour the sauce over the mixture, and toss everything together for 1 minute until the sauce thickens slightly.
Plate the stir-fry and garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
