Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a small baking dish with parchment paper.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, finely diced yellow onion, minced garlic, almond flour, sea salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
Gently mix the ingredients by hand until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
Shape the mixture into a compact rectangular loaf and place it in the prepared baking dish.
Brush the top of the loaf with one tablespoon of the sugar-free BBQ sauce.
Wrap the bacon slice over the top of the loaf, tucking the ends underneath the meat.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
During the last 5 minutes of baking, steam the broccoli florets until they are vibrant green and tender.
Brush the remaining tablespoon of BBQ sauce over the bacon and broil for 1 to 2 minutes until the bacon is crisp.
Let the meatloaf rest for 5 minutes before serving alongside the steamed broccoli.
