Sheet Pan Salmon with Sweet Hoisin Sauce
Oven-roasted salmon fillets glazed in a savory-sweet hoisin sauce, served alongside charred baby bok choy and crisp bell peppers for a vibrant, nutrient-dense meal.
INGREDIENTS
9 oz Salmon fillet
1.5 tbsp Hoisin sauce
2 tsp Tamari
1 tsp Sesame oil
1 tsp Fresh ginger
1 tsp Garlic
2 heads Baby bok choy
1 medium Red bell pepper
1 tsp Avocado oil
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
1 tsp Sesame seeds
1 medium Green onion
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a large sheet pan with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, whisk together the hoisin sauce, tamari, sesame oil, grated fresh ginger, and minced garlic until smooth.
Slice the baby bok choy in half lengthwise and cut the red bell pepper into thick strips.
Place the vegetables on the sheet pan, drizzle with avocado oil, and season with sea salt and black pepper, tossing to coat.
Nestle the salmon fillets onto the pan and brush half of the hoisin glaze generously over the top of the fish.
Roast for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
Remove from the oven and brush the remaining glaze over the salmon for a glossy finish.
Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and thinly sliced green onions before serving.
