Preheat oven to 375°F and line a small loaf pan or baking dish with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, egg, almond flour, finely diced yellow onion, minced garlic, sea salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
Mix the ingredients by hand until just combined, ensuring the spices are evenly distributed without overworking the meat.
Form the mixture into a compact loaf shape and place it into the prepared baking dish.
Lay the bacon slices across the top of the meatloaf, slightly overlapping them and tucking the ends underneath the loaf.
Brush 1 tablespoon of the sugar-free BBQ sauce over the top of the bacon.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, then remove from the oven and brush the remaining 1 tablespoon of BBQ sauce over the top.
Return to the oven and bake for another 5-10 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F and the bacon is crisp.
Allow the meatloaf to rest for 5 minutes before slicing to ensure it stays juicy.
