Pan-Seared Teriyaki Salmon with Green Beans
Pan-seared salmon glazed in a savory ginger teriyaki sauce, served alongside crisp-tender green beans for a vibrant and nourishing meal.
INGREDIENTS
7 oz Salmon fillet
1.5 cup Green beans
2 tbsp Tamari
1 tbsp Rice vinegar
0.5 tbsp Honey
1 tsp Fresh ginger
1 clove Garlic
1 tsp Avocado oil
0.5 tsp Sesame seeds
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
PREPARATION
In a small bowl, whisk together the tamari, rice vinegar, honey, grated fresh ginger, and minced garlic to create the teriyaki glaze.
Season the salmon fillet with sea salt and black pepper on both sides.
Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat with the avocado oil.
Place the salmon in the skillet skin-side down and cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy, then flip and cook for another 3 minutes.
Add the trimmed green beans to the skillet during the last 4 minutes of cooking, tossing them in the oil to blister slightly.
Pour the teriyaki glaze over the salmon and green beans, allowing it to bubble and thicken for 1 minute while spooning the sauce over the fish.
Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
