INGREDIENTS
6 oz Sashimi-grade salmon
0.25 cup Cooked sushi rice
0.13 whole Avocado
0.5 cup Cucumber
2 sheets Nori
1 tbsp Coconut aminos
1 tsp Rice vinegar
0.25 tsp Sea salt
1 tsp Pickled ginger
0.5 tsp Wasabi paste
PREPARATION
Slice the salmon into long, thin strips using a sharp knife.
Julienne the cucumber into matchsticks and slice the avocado into thin wedges.
Season the cooked sushi rice with rice vinegar and sea salt, mixing gently to combine.
Place a nori sheet on a bamboo rolling mat with the shiny side facing down.
Spread half of the rice evenly over the nori, leaving a one-inch border at the top edge.
Layer half of the salmon strips, cucumber, and avocado across the center of the rice.
Roll the nori tightly from the bottom, using the mat to guide and compress the ingredients.
Lightly dampen the top border of the nori with water to seal the roll.
Repeat the process with the remaining ingredients for the second roll.
Slice each roll into eight even pieces and serve with coconut aminos, pickled ginger, and wasabi.
