Sweet and Savory Glazed Pork Tenderloin
Succulent pork tenderloin glazed with honey and aromatic spices, roasted until perfectly caramelized on the outside while staying tender and juicy inside. Served with vibrant steamed broccoli and fluffy jasmine rice for a balanced, protein-rich meal.
INGREDIENTS
6 ounces pork tenderloin
2 teaspoons honey
1 cup broccoli florets
1/4 cup jasmine rice
1/2 container (about 85g) plain nonfat Greek yogurt
1 teaspoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Salt to taste
PREPARATION
Bring 1/2 cup of water to boil in a small pot. Add jasmine rice, reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes until tender.
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Pat the pork tenderloin dry with paper towels and season with garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear the pork tenderloin on all sides until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Brush the honey evenly over the pork tenderloin.
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for 15-20 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
While the pork is roasting, steam the broccoli in a steamer basket for 5-7 minutes until crisp-tender.
Let the pork rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Serve the sliced pork tenderloin with the steamed broccoli and jasmine rice.
Top with a dollop of Greek yogurt on the side for added protein and creamy texture.
