HEYYYY GIRL HEYYYY, I am so freaking excited for you to start my new challenge “HER STANDARD”  because we are becoming THAT GIRL this challenge. I have been perfecting these workouts for a couple weeks before I launched this program for you guys so I am so excited to finally launch!!

Before you start, I wanted to give some pointers about this challenge.

Over the next 6 weeks, we’ll be doing the same exercises each week, which is consistent with how I train.

At first, this may seem weird. But the truth is, this is actually a very common approach with weightlifters and bodybuilders. To understand why, think about it like this. When you lift weights, you are stressing your muscles in a way that forces them to adapt and become stronger. This process is called muscle hypertrophy, and it is often the main goal of building a better physique (building muscle also helps you burn more fat in a resting state, generally leading to a better physique).

To achieve muscle hypertrophy, it's important to have consistency in your training. By performing the same exercises each week with a consistent routine, your body becomes more efficient at performing those exercises, allowing you to lift more weight or perform more repetitions over time (also known as progressively overloading the muscles).

This is how I was able to properly body recomp and go from 200 pounds to 155 and properly sustain muscle.

Progressive overload refers to the principle of gradually increasing the demand placed on your muscles during resistance training. This can be achieved by increasing weight, volume (reps/sets), time under tension, or decreasing rest time between sets. Basically push til failure.

In addition to progressively overloading your muscles, consistency in your training also helps to prevent injury. By sticking to the same exercises each week, you become more familiar with the movements and can perform them with better form, reducing the risk of injury. In contrast, if you switch up your exercises frequently, you may be placing unfamiliar stresses on your muscles and joints, which can increase your risk of injury. Im not sure if you guys have ever felt more confused when you have a new workout routine every week but ive been there, done that and never stuck to the plan.

Lastly, another reason consistency is important is that it allows you to track your progress more accurately. By performing the same exercises each week, you can monitor your strength gains and adjust your training program accordingly.

In summary, it's often smart to train using the same exercises each week with a consistent routine to achieve muscle hypertrophy, prevent injury, and track their progress more accurately.

This is exactly how I train and i know yall see my progress in real time so lets get YOU YOUR progress in real time and BECOME HER!

xx Tamara

I think that the schedule itself is very intense. We only are given one rest day which isn't great but other than that I have found myself to be very sore and feeling good.

Love this program so far the videos showing what to do are so beginner friendly (those of us not knowledgeable of gym equipment) the posts are motivating and I feel confident is most important

Baddie Boot Camp - 6wk Challenge

This is the second program I purchased from Tamara. I loved how the workouts were structured and how easy it was to follow. Having that community also helped to keep me accountable and realize that I am not alone in this journey hence why I decided to purchase the baddie boot camp. I can’t wait to see my results at the end of it.

Baddie Boot Camp - 6wk Challenge

I've been following Tamara on her social media since the beginning of her fitness page. I was hesitant on signing up for her first course. I am glad I waited and signed up for "Baddie Boot Camp" it was an affordable price and I thought it was a good way to get my feet wet back into fitness. I have completed week 1 by the looks of it the program can be previewed to see what is in the weeks to come. The exercises are curated by her with video prompts of how to do the exercise. I would say these exercises are medium to hard, but if your a beginner and need more posture correction I would say take it slow. This app is very easy to use and gives you the "checklist" option when each workout is completed. No timers that make you wait for the next exercise! Tamara actively posts a few times a week. And the community on the app is very supportive and energetic.

I like that you engage with everyone everyday. I would like modified or substitutes of the more difficult exercises for example, the assisted pull ups. Also the food charts you provided, can you resend it and make it more clear?

Baddies Lift Heavy - 6wk Challenge

I purchased this because it said it was gonna come with at home workouts. I don’t have a gym membership and I don’t have enough weights at home so I was looking forward for the challenge. Turned out there was no at home workouts, I did reach out to Tamara and she answered and said she was gonna post at home workouts this new coming week so I’m excited for that I hope she does post them cuz I’m trying to gain muscle and feel like a baddie again 😕

Baddies Lift Heavy - 6wk Challenge

So far I’ve liked the workouts we’ve had, but I feel like the challenge itself has no structure. I wish there were warm ups stretches, cool down stretches, the ability change the workouts to a different spot, etc. it definitely need a little more work and thought process to it. But I am overall happy with the workouts itself.
