Welcome to the Summer Shred.

This is a 6-week body recomposition program designed to help you lose fat, build muscle, and feel stronger without overcomplicating everything. The goal isn’t to extremes or starting over every Monday. It’s to build consistency, push your limits, and actually see progress over time.

You’ll be training 4 mandatory days per week, with 1 optional day if you want more. The structure is simple, effective, and built to fit into your life while still challenging you.

There’s a HYROX-style edge to this program, so expect a mix of strength and conditioning that improves your endurance while making you stronger. You’re not just working out, you’re building a body that performs. I will also be doing this challenge with you!

I usually use trainerize for my workouts and with this app, I love that it tracks my past reps and weight so I can just quickly check it off the list or make changes if I need to. I also love love love how hands-on Gina and the other coaches have been throughout this challenge, always keeping us motivated and offering tips to improve workouts, nutrition, rest/recovery, and sleep. I like the app- makes tracking lifts and progress way easier. I think there’s a bit too much variability in the workouts week to week. I would be cool w the same split w the same moves for 6 weeks so I can truly progressively overload. For example- I was loving incline bench press and then the subsequent weeks that excessive was replaces w machine chest press… would have much rather kept the incline bench press for the whole program if possible ! Also condensing the leg days to two days of lifts would be useful and adding more “conditioning” to the leg and conditioning day
