I came into this challenge expecting it to be like all the others just get the workout, do the workout, and move on. But this challenge was personal. Anjayla was involved every step of the way from answering questions, demonstrating proper form, sending positive affirmations, to FaceTiming us throughout the week to keep everyone motivated and ready to push harder. We got spoiled, you hear me! Being 40, I was a little nervous at first with such a big age gap, but I was so surprised at how I fit right in with all the ladies even though most are half my age! That just speaks to the kind of positive, uplifting energy she created. Anjayla didn’t just build a fitness group she built a sisterhood, a family, where women of all shapes, ages, and backgrounds could be open, not just about their fitness journey, but about life. Even as a seasoned gym girly, this challenge pushed me. The workouts were designed to deliver results and let me tell you, every last one of the girlies ate!
