You don’t need a fancy gym or complicated equipment. Just dumbbells, three workouts per week, and a plan that actually works!
This is full body strength training, built around compound movements - the exercises that give you the most bang for your buck! Each exercise hits multiple muscle groups at once, so you’re building real strength without spending hours in the gym.
Here’s the structure: three different workouts that you’ll repeat for two weeks each. Why? Because that’s how you get stronger. Progressive overload isn’t some fitness buzzword; it’s literally how your muscles grow. You need time with the same movements to add weight, add reps, and see what you’re actually capable of.

How is the Build to Burn Blueprint different from other programs?

I loved Cheryl on YouTube, so it felt natural to take this program because I needed a structure to follow. I love that I felt challenged, guided, and cheered along the way. I had to repeat a couple of sessions and I am fine with that. It was my choice. I am definitely stronger and making strides to learning new neuromuscular patterms. I am excited to finish this one and start a new program after I deload. I'm willing to follow the program the way it is intended. I know I don't need to be in a hurry and I am not in competition with anyone other than my own goals. I love the community. I can always follow the programs on YouTube if I want, and I will. I do like this way of measuring my progress though. When I get to one year of training, I know my body will be better conditioned than it has ever been in my life. I turn 60 on December 21st and I am so proud of all of us women for doing this! It doesn't matter your age. What matters is remembering your personal potential. It's the best feeling. Also, I can attest to the mental health benefits that I get from working out like this. Honestly, cardio might have a runners type "high", but lifting is completely different. It changes your brain. I feel very differently when I lift. It's scientifically factual that exercise helps with depression and anxiety, but I know from my own experience that this kind of exercise has shown me a difference in how I feel from a brain chemistry perspective. Yes, I do feel proud of myself, but it's not that. I don't have a perfect body or even close. (Hint: I never will) because I am older and I won't be able to have a body like Cheryl's unless I get surgery. But, perhaps it's about loving myself enough to do this work, because I care about myself and it is an act of love and self devotion. Maybe it's time to allow yourself to just be who you are. Especially for those of us who have lost weight and have some loose skin. I am a work in progress, and I am excited to see where I will be in a years time. Little by little my body is changing, getting stronger and more bad ass! LOL We are all Wonder Women! Because we are here doing the work! Cheers!

I loved the sets, I loved how detailed the workouts were and the importance of proper form first, then work on adding weights for Progressive Overload goals. As I am in deload mode and go back to my earlier sets, I almost laugh at how light the weights were when I started. I’m so excited to do the next challenge. This is an incredible leader with an amazing community. She knows how to guide us with the best workouts for compounding effect.
