I prefer the way it is done on you tube. She does the every thing with you and is well structured. This format shows the exercise and that’s it. I prefer the way it is done on YouTube. Warm up, set of three times with 30 second breaks in between, and go to next set. She also does four sets of two types of exercises. This one is only 3 sets of different exercises. I purchased because I thought it would be structured as it is on you tube. I am quite disappointed.

I absolutely 1000% love all Cheryl's programs! The challenges took me beyond the next level as I had been doing her YT videos for one year prior 3x per week and a 30 minute walk every day! Summer Strong was my second challenge with Cheryl and I had a great experience. Her workouts are well designed and the format with logging weights and reps into an app is very convenient. I am 43 years old and found over the last few years my weight and body shape beginning to creep towards a place I was unhappy and insecure about. I eat healthy, work out, and did Cheryl’s YouTube videos which were wonderful. But something wasn’t working: either I was not consistent enough or didn’t push out of my comfort zone. Finally decided to try the Summer Strong challenge and really commit to it fully. What a wonderful experience it has been! The community here is so inspiring, and the set up for the workouts taught me so much. I have begun to re shape my body into something I feel happy with. 6 weeks was a perfect start to see change, feel change, and create a new lifestyle. I will definitely be doing the next challenge, and any more Cheryl puts out. I cannot wait to see and feel my body and mind continue to strengthen and change for the better. I cannot thank Cheryl enough for all the love she has put into this program. And to all of the strong people working out together who inspire and cheer each other on.

This is my most honest review of my first Summer Strong challenge with Cheryl. I was always skinny and consistent with training throughout my life. However, three years ago, I gained 10 kg (perimenopause). The same weight I had during one of my pregnancies! I did everything—and more—and still, nothing changed. I followed workout programs from two well-known trainers, and nothing. The way I had always eaten no longer worked. I'm a nutrition professor, and even that didn’t help! No diet worked—not even the one heavily promoted by a famous doctor specializing in menopause. Nothing… Still, being used to training 5 times a week, I started the challenge full of doubts: what could I possibly achieve by training just 3 times a week if nothing had changed with 5? Nevertheless, I committed to following Cheryl to the letter. And… the magic happened without me even realizing it. Through her pedagogy, Cheryl made it clear that the key was training to muscle failure. The goal wasn’t to lose weight. The goal wasn’t “next month.” The goal was today: to push every set to failure. Nothing more. And after 6 weeks, where the goal shifted from losing weight to becoming strong, everything changed. Did I lose weight? No. But the mirror shows a completely different image. Fat was burned and muscle was built. The before-and-after photos are the kind I normally wouldn’t believe when I see them on social media. Don’t believe me? Do the challenge and see for yourselves! I had been doing Cheryl's YouTube videos and didn't really think that doing a challenge would make that much of a difference. Well, I was wrong!
