A body is not in season. Your body is for life! I want you to feel your best 365! No 75-day challenges here. No countdown on when you should reach your goal by just because the sun is out. Just 8 weeks of damn good workouts for sustainable and lasting change.
Own your goals! You can achieve anything you set your mind to. Nothing wrong with sunshine around the corner to give you the boost you need to level up your training and be your most confident self!
Whether you are a seasoned gym veteran, or are jumping right on in, or somewhere in between this program will take you to new heights in your strength and confidence gains!
This is an 8-week FUNCTIONAL STRENGTH program focused on unilateral movements, movement in multiple planes, and getting stronger inside and outside of the gym. The goal is to help you fall in LOVE with moving and understand that your body and taking care of her is not JUST FOR ONE SEASON, but for LIFE. I had the chance to make this end when summer starts in June, but when summer starts, taking care of our bodies and pursuit of our health goals to NOT. SO THROW AWAY THAT MINDSET. This plan can be used for anyone, beginners includes, and with the Healthy Habits Guide the nutrition section will help you tailor your intake to meet your goal of: fat loss, building muscle, or body recomposition. Most of body composition goals are fine tuned in the kitchen NOT the type of movement
The split is 5 days per week, & the 5th day is an optional full body day to make it more accessible for those who need to drop a day to make the plan fit their life, without missing out on a muscle group.
WEEKS 1-3 Hypertrophy Foundations (training in progressive overload style in rep ranges that encourage muscle growth in the foundational movements that will be in this program. Balance basics, and some unilateral moves but more body building style “gym bro” moves.)
WEEKS 4-6 Hypertrophy Functions (still the same philosophy and rep ranges as above, but with more rotations, jumps, & moving in multiple planes)
WEEKS 7+8 Muscular Endurance & Cardiovascular Focus (Here we up the rep ranges and lighten the weight for even more functional bopping around the gym, think higher heart rate, supersets, HIIT & unveiling that muscle while seeing just what your body can DO - still with 2 Hypertrophy Foundational days)
This program contains a GYM & HOME VERSION.
HOME participants will need:
1 pair of lighter dumbbells (5-10lbs)
1 pair of medium dumbbells (12-20lbs)
1 pair of heavier dumbbells (25-50lbs)
*can get away with choosing 1 of either light or medium but upper body work will be a bit more to navigate
