The goal is simple: show up to HYROX Boston prepared, confident, and capable of executing at a high level from start to finish. HYROX demands the ability to sustain effort over time while recovering quickly between high-output stations. In order to preform well, you have to work strategically. To kick off the “Build to Boston” series, - We have “Phase 1”. This is where you will develop a strong and efficient aerobic base that allows you to hold your paces, manage fatigue, and stay composed. Alongside your engine, this program focuses heavily on muscular strength. You will train the exact movement patters required in the race, to build muscle efficiently and feel comfortable with the load come race day. As the program series builds…we place increasing emphasis on your speed, muscular endurance and anaerobic capacity in phases 2 & 3. These sessions are designed to make you comfortable being uncomfortable, so when it matters most, you can stay sharp. A increase in volume, and specific interval work that is guaranteed to help you hold fast paces come race day. Whether your goal is to compete at HYROX Boston or to significantly elevate your performance in any race, this program is structured for all. If you are competing in Hyrox Boston, an ideal structure would look like the following:
