Five Minutes of Movement is a daily prenatal & postnatal yoga challenge to get your body moving—just 5 minutes at a time, one day at a time. For June, our challenge is called "Here Comes the Sun."
This challenge is inspired by the summer solstice and the grounding, energizing tradition of Sun Salutations—movements that honor light, rhythm, and renewal.
Yogis around the world gather on the summer solstice to do 108 sun salutations (which is honestly incredibly hard and not super conducive to mom life these days!). We'll honor the tradition and capture the same spirit in a special 3-week journey.

Hi, I’m Sarah Almodovar! I'm a certified pre/postnatal yoga teacher, Pregnancy & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, and mom of three. I’m a big believer in small, sustainable steps. After becoming a mom myself, I realized how hard it is to make space for yourself in a season that demands so much of you. I created the 5 Minutes of Movement challenge because I know what it’s like to want a routine, but not have the time or energy for something complicated. This challenge is your invitation to start small and keep showing up. Over the years, I’ve supported hundreds of women through every stage of this journey—from the first trimester to years after giving birth. I’ve had three unmedicated home births myself and have helped many moms move toward more peaceful, empowering birth and recovery experiences. My teaching blends anatomy-based knowledge with lived experience, and I always lead with compassion, practicality, and zero pressure. This challenge is about building strength and consistency in a way that actually fits your life.
