Introducing our first Consistent As A Motha Challenge! I'm so excited it's here! This challenge is first & foremost designed to help you find a supportive community of mamas & women while making time for our own wellbeing. I know I need it & I'm thrilled to share in this with you!
The workouts in this challenge are an updated, postpartum-friendly version of my Toned As A Motha program – progressive overload strength training with a twist. I know many of you are in this postpartum season with me (& all mamas are postpartum!) so I wanted this challenge to meet us where we are & create space for consistency & support!
Inside, we'll focus on joint and tissue health all while gaining strength. All workouts can be done from the gym or at home, and I've provided detailed video demonstrations with talked through instructions for every exercise. In addition, you'll have intentional warm ups and cool downs included for each day.
My goal is to provide you with everything you need to get stronger & more confident, while listening to your body & having fun doing it.

I can't begin to explain what a game changer this program that Anna has created has done for me, and its only been 6 days of the program. I've been in a fitness journey for 10+ years and I've always felt there has to be more, to effectively workout. I would be in pain at times, which is going to happen here and there, while working out and I wouldn't feel the muscles I needed to feel for that workout. I now feel muscles that I've been wanting to feel while working out and I have 95% less pain. I've had instructors teach breathing in "360 degrees" and she taught me 5 different ways to achieve that. I'm The blown away that 10 minutes of practice has completely changed my life. Her demonstrations and cues for each exercise, combined with videos showing different angles as she describes the motions simulate being with a live trainer. It's useful to have full access and determine what works for you. I plan on purchasing the courses the I need and telling my friends.

TLDR: my body feels challenged as well as supported and that’s huge for someone on her 50s with longstanding imbalances and low back/hip pain who still wants to get and stay strong! Great workouts that both challenge as well as ensure good form. The workouts are long and more days a week than I have time for currently but I LOVE how they are divided into different body sections. I prefer this, even if it takes me longer than 4 weeks to get through the program I’m totally ok with that. I know I’m getting quality exercises that focus on more than “upper body” “lower body” formula workouts. It takes time and work to see results and this particular program (toned as a motha) promises to provide results. Even if you can only do 3-4 workouts a week instead of the 5.

GREAT programming! I’ve incorporated this into my daily lifting routine. I do this after lifting. I believe it has helped me with my lifts. It couldn’t have come at a better time! This week was my peak week and maxes for all my lifts. I’ve PRd all my lifts this week 🙌🏻 This is not a small thing to me. When you’ve been lifting for a long time PRs are far and few in between. I feel the strongest I’ve been with my programming and I am a firm believer that this program has helped improve my mobility and core strength. Also, I have been breathing wrong and developed an anterior pelvic tilt. As a result this has caused a nagging pain in my right lower back and hip. It’s been months of that pain and I’ve been going to the chiropractor with relief but then it would return the next day. Since starting this program my right hip and lower back are feeling much better ♥️ I’m beyond grateful for this program that has helped me be more aware of my posture and breathing.

Postpartum Program

Just finished this challenge and I can’t say enough good things about it. I had just gotten pregnant (first time) when I started and it was the best decision I could’ve made for myself. I always thought pregnancy meant I would kind of lose my body and just deal with dysfunction postpartum because that is “just part of having kids.” This program really challenged that mindset for me. It showed me that it does not have to be that way and that you can actually support your body well during this season. In just 6 weeks, my alignment, strength, and connection to my body completely changed. I feel so much more stable and confident moving through pregnancy. I also realized it is not just about lifting weights to look a certain way, but about training with purpose in a way that actually benefits you long term. I truly feel like I am setting myself up for a healthier pregnancy and postpartum. I already restarted the program and love how adjustable it is depending on what you need. There is so much helpful information throughout, and you can really tell how much Anna cares about helping women!

For context, I’m a mom of 4 with a 4-5 finger diastasis gap. Scary! 😱 I would currently label myself as “skinny fat”. I met my husband 11 years ago in the gym when we were both lifting weights — strong and toned. With each baby, I worked out less and less. I was tired of seeing myself in this weak form. In comes Anna “The Angel” McClellan, inspiring me to reclaim my strength and toned physique as a busy, homeschooling mom of 4. Now, in week 6, I can engage my core, I’m more aware of how my diaphragm and pelvic floor work as a unit, and I can manage pressure much better as I push weights.
