"Results from January’s challenge!!!!! This was my 3rd time doing this challenge and I finally succeeded!! I definitely had more motivation! I was the Maid of Honor in my sisters wedding yesterday and was determined to fit into my dress!!! Round 2 starting tomorrow!! Keep pushing ladies we got this!!!!! Edit: Whoops I forgot to put what I did! Home workout!! With fasted cardio Monday-Friday! I started my day and ended my day with peppermint tea! A gallon of water with lemon everyday! Meal prepping was a life saver for me! For breakfast, I would have oatmeal with banana or a premier protein shake with banana. For lunch, I would have ground turkey with garlic and onion powder with either sweet peas or broccoli. I would add sweet potatoes every other day. For snack, I would have the frozen mixed berries from Walmart with the blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries or apple and peanut butter. For dinner, I would have salmon with hot sauce, spinach, and mushrooms. Every Wednesday I would let myself have a cheat meal and a dessert to keep myself sane lol lol. My cheat meal was a 1/4 chicken with rice and beans from Pollo Tropical. (It’s my favorite fast food place lol) The one I go to is heavy handed on the rice so I would only eat half of the rice. I think the workouts should be more structured, you have 4 exercises in a circuit , gym based, but there’s only 1 exercise of that 4 that actually needs a gym machine, which means hogging the first machine for 3 more exercises if you want to do it correctly without a long break and then repeating that 3 times, that’s kind of unrealistic at a public gym, but also inconsiderate, and because it is gym based, even the circuits that you have multiple gym machines being used i think shouldn’t be an actual circuit because again, hogging 3 machines at once to get that circuit in without too long of a rest time just doesn’t work that well in the gym.

alicoolcat @capricurves Thank you soooo much for this program! It is sincerely the TRUTH! I struggled for so long to jump back into fitness and it felt like a losing battle, but this program gave me the results I needed to help me remain consistent. These are all gym workouts. Once I hit 40 it became harder, and especially these last two years during the pandemic really did a number on me with stress and I gained 50 lbs. Last year I tried to get a hold of it and tried Noom and actually lost about 15 lbs but it did NOT look like this. I was still struggling, so I easily put it back on. On this program, I followed the meal suggestions, drank lots of water, consumed protein and healthy carbs in addition to lots of veggies, and did they workouts - which was my biggest struggle because it's been years since I actually worked out. I modified what I could but kept going no matter what. I'm grateful to have remained consistent because Im still going and now down 21 lbs, but probably will join the next challenge to motivate me to work on my discipline. For those inquiring about my Round 1 (4 wks results) before and after- My IG- @dailysoulmedicine @RiseSisRise (A new empowerment IG) @Sarahfiera (my actual personal IG) Workouts- I followed Capri's Keep The Curves home workout program! Nothing extra other than what Capri suggested. When she STRONGLY suggested to do fasted HITT cardio, I STRONGLY took her advice...and did it 4 days a week. I would do the listed Tuesday & Thursday HITT cardio portion that is listed in Capri's "Keep The Curves" HOME Program, PLUS the daily abs portion fasted. I did this before all her daily workout EXCEPT for the Wednesday's Booty day. I didn't do any fasted cardio HITT or any cardio on Booty Day, and did Booty Day exactly has the program's Home version of "Keep The Curves" listed. Diet- I'm on a Low- glycemic diet. It's basically low carb, high protein, healthy fat diet. So No sugars. No grains. No fruit juices. LOTS of dark leafy greens, fatty fish, avocados, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, cauliflower rice/mash, and I ate pasture raised beef or bison once a week. Frozen blueberries was my only fruit.
