WELCOME TO HEADSTART! Before I officially “locked in”, I took about 4-6 weeks to just make subconscious changes towards a better me. I prioritized my step count, made my meals look beautiful & colorful while incorporating proteins, and honed in on the little things.

I have enjoyed the program so far. I like that some of the exercises are the same and some change up each week. The way the program is laid out has helped me maintain my workout schedule even when I don’t feel up to it. My plan is to restart when the current program done and use this schedule to help continue the progress I’ve made and build on it.

8 - Week Train like Me

I love that there are videos showing you what to do rather than just telling. Some things I literally cannot do, so I had to research alternatives. And some things hurt my knees really bad so I couldn’t do them and had to find alternatives for those too. I do like that I can track though, that part is awesome! And I wish when we completed a day and we could upload the photo it could be of ourselves and not someone else, that part is weird to me because it’s not her progress, it’s mine.

Following Esther's program provides an easy to use guide while I'm in the gym. I would give it 4.5 stars actually. The only thing I found missing so far is how to modify if missing equipment or the move is too advanced for me. So far though, it's great!

I don’t think the Solin app is super user friendly because there wasn’t a tutorial to begin with. Also I don’t like how if you make a post, there isn’t a notification section to we responses, so you’d have to endlessly scroll to find your post later. I really liked the weight tracking and breaking up the workout weeks. Also liked the sum of each workouts total weight-that kept me hype. I enjoyed each work out for the most part. One thing I’d improve is the explainations for each movement. Not each move had a video, the camera angle wasn’t always the best( I including filming multiple angles for from) and sometimes explanations were too brief. I also prefer more variation in my workout routine-although I appreciate that this could have been intentional to truly show weight and skill progression. Overall would recommend and can’t wait to continue!

The programme is really well laid out however, I would have liked to have more machine workouts especially if it’s a gym guide. Also in the UK we have large KB which makes some of the workouts harder even with a super light weight
