WELCOME TO HEADSTART! Before I officially “locked in”, I took about 4-6 weeks to just make subconscious changes towards a better me. I prioritized my step count, made my meals look beautiful & colorful while incorporating proteins, and honed in on the little things.

December is NOT for an overhaul. ❌

December is NOT for some revamp of your life and the most ridiculously rigid goal. 🚫

December is not for some weird version of 30 hard, and it is most definitely NOT the month of restriction. 🙅‍♀️

However, it CAN BE a month of setting intentions. A month of being conscious of taking care of your body in little ways. It can be a month of prep alongside the joyous season. It can be a month of live laugh love move your body and then have a Christmas cookie. 😊

Headstart is about prioritizing your goals and setting yourself up for a holiday season that combines health and happiness in tandem WHILE you set yourself up for a more potentially conscious structure of locking in come January. This challenge will set you up for success so that January is not a JOLT back to consistency. This is the achievable challenge for busy women or those just starting back in their journeys. This can be done from the gym, from home, or from the side of the road (so long as you have dumbbells). 😊🏋️‍♀️

This program split is: THREE FULL BODY DAYS PER WEEK. (Plus 2 x Optional Workouts for those who need some more oomf glutes & core // mobility)

This program helped me get back into the fitness lifestyle. The workouts could be done at home or at the gym, which is very helpful during the holiday season. I can't wait to do Esther's "Train Like Me" program. While the community is great, I wish we got more interactions with Esther, but it is a crazy season for everyone! Overall, I enjoyed this program and am excited to make the small decisions that lead to big changes, whether that's mentally or physically.

I have enjoyed the program so far. I like that some of the exercises are the same and some change up each week. The way the program is laid out has helped me maintain my workout schedule even when I don’t feel up to it. My plan is to restart when the current program done and use this schedule to help continue the progress I’ve made and build on it.

As I entered university, after over 12 years of playing basketball - I had no idea how to move my body if it was not on a court. Forget the ‘Freshman 15’ - think ‘Freshman 40’. My initial return to the gym was from a place of self loathing, as I was looking for a quick fix.
