Honey-Garlic Chicken Skillet with Roasted Broccoli
Sautéed chicken breast glazed in a sticky honey-garlic sauce and served with crisp-tender roasted broccoli florets for a satisfying, sweet and savory meal.
INGREDIENTS
4 oz Chicken breast
1.5 cups Broccoli florets
1 tbsp Honey
1 tbsp Tamari
2 cloves Garlic
1 tsp Fresh ginger
1 tsp Avocado oil
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
1 tsp Sesame seeds
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Toss the broccoli florets with sea salt and black pepper on the baking sheet and roast for 15 minutes until the edges are slightly charred.
While the broccoli roasts, cut the chicken breast into 1-inch bite-sized cubes.
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, tamari, minced garlic, and grated fresh ginger to create the glaze.
Heat the avocado oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the chicken pieces to the skillet and sauté for 6 to 8 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
Pour the honey-garlic sauce into the skillet with the chicken and simmer for 2 minutes until the liquid reduces into a thick, sticky glaze.
Add the roasted broccoli to the skillet and toss everything together to coat before garnishing with sesame seeds.
