Welcome to Muscle Burns Fat! This 6 week program uses dumbbells only, making it ideal for home or the gym. 

There’s three full body workouts each week, combining compound and isolation exercises to maximize strength gains, muscle growth, and fat burning.

Between working, mom-ing and life-ing, I wouldn’t have time if it took longer than 45 minutes so I’ve used my skills as a certified Personal Trainer and knowledge as an exercise science nerd, to design the BEST GYM PROGRAM busy people can do at home!

Each circuit (combo set) includes four exercises and there’s two circuits in each workout. Move one exercise to the next in each circuit, pausing just long enough to catch your breath and feel ready to move on. Yes, you’ll still build muscle at this pace because the shoulders get a break during your 30 second rest AND while training the back, legs and biceps, for example.

This method of training reduces total workout time and removes the boredom some people experience with traditional straight sets.

Before you start, I want to answer the two most common questions I get about this program:

1. Why just two leg exercises per workout?
Completing all three full body workouts each week provides 18 working sets for legs (24 if following advanced). Exercise science shows that 10-20 sets per week are required for muscle growth. 

2. Three, 45 minute sessions - are you sure it’s enough?
If you feel like you can do MORE, it suggests to me that you need to increase your dumbbell weight. If it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you!

LOVE everything about this challenge and the last one I did,.. my progress is incredible , the bi-weekly routines are perfectly planned , I was hesitant to join , not sure what it would be like , Cheryl’s instructional lift clips are straight and to the point easy to understand and her cues help me with my form. This summer strong challenge is shorter than the last one which is perfect and lets me enjoy the rest of my day outdoors or with family .. my 50 year old body is getting stronger week by week , lift after lift .. and lastly the community that Cheryl has fostered is INCREDIBLE , kind motivating and supportive , it’s a place where you also get personal support ( Cheryl posts / responds daily ) and postings in relation to all other components to lifting , and nutrition that’s makes this program one of the most successful I have ever joined! .. I am on the 2nd round this is Summer strong challenge. I love the community. Cheryl's is very helpful and has a lot of knowledge on fitness and building your body or losing/burning fat. She is always engaging with us rather it be here in the community or on Instagram. I have seen results personally. You have to put in the work but she lays it all out for you. Nutrition is important if you want to see results and she really brings it on her nutritious recipes. Also the community posts more on nutrition as well. All you have to do is ask. Will be going for another round but first I think I must finish this one😊❤️❤️❤️❤️ Thank goodness I found Cheryl's YouTube channel and this challenge and the community. Thanks Cheryl for personally building me up here.

I've never stuck with an exercise program like I have with Cee's programs. This is my third with Cee and I will be here for how ever many more she creates. I am turning 60 this year and have never felt stronger in my life. I can do more than I ever thought I'd be capable of. My knee pain is improving because I am gaining strength. The way she encourages and teaches us while we are all going through the program allows for continuous learning and improvement. I am 67 yr old woman that got tired of looking at my crepey arms in the mirror, stopped wearing anything sleeveless about 2 yrs ago. A pickleball friend of mine shared her before and after photos with our small group. I didn’t think I’d see much of a difference, she’s already in amazing shape and does strength training on a regular basis. I was wrong, if this program improves my arms and strength by just a bit, I’ll be ecstatic! I’ve never stuck to any exercise routine, so getting through the 1st week has felt great.
