Welcome to StrongBody, a 6 week program designed to build muscle for fat loss and strength gains!
Three full body sessions each week. Circuits in these new workouts are 3-3-2 (vs 4-4 in Muscle Burns Fat). Research shows people push harder when there's fewer exercises per circuit. Also, setting up for the circuit offers more recovery time, so you’re stronger for each lift!
More muscle for a strong body and leaner, more defined look!
The only equipment needed is a selection of dumbbells, making this program home and gym-friendly.
Each workout targets the full body using compound exercises for legs, back, chest and isolation exercises for shoulders, biceps, triceps - to sculpt enviable arms!
Three, full body workouts are included and depending on your rest time, will take roughly 45 minutes to complete. Each workout is repeated three times during the week for a total of two weeks before moving on. Your body becomes more efficient at performing each exercise when you repeat the same lifts each week. This allows you to complete more repetitions and lift more weight over time. It’s the principle of progressive overload and is required to build muscle and increase strength!
Exercise demonstrations with verbal cues from me are provided in this go on your own format. Please note workouts are not follow along and you should have experience lifting weights before starting.

Probably the most effective work out I've done in my fifties. I'd always lifted weights,but stayed in a safe range and probably didn't push myself as much as I could. This is my first challenge with Cheryl and it’s only the beginning. I’ve never enjoyed working out so much. I’m so looking forward to continuing this journey I am on to build muscle and strength; feel good in myself. I’ve never felt better in my own skin. I also cut out alcohol last October and that has definitely helped. If I had realised ages ago that I could eat an abundance of delicious food and still be fit and healthy, I would have done it. As a person who has always been relatively fit, but never really in to ‘exercise’ I have tried various things to tone up over the years. Strength training is something that I’ve known is beneficial for a while & with a family history of osteoporosis & being in my early 40s it felt like a now or never type thing… I found Cee on YouTube & she’s a breath of fresh air compared to the hyped up gym bunnies that usually lead these programs. I loved everything about this program. This is my second challenge and I’ve been doing it along with my sister-in-law that lives in another country and we connect every single day and throughout the day and I am so thankful to her for getting me on this program and we keep each other I am 56 and my weight was just slowly creeping up & up and I felt very unhappy and defeated. It really got me off my butt and exercising regularly which motivated me to really dial in on my eating and track it as well. What a difference! The fact that I just have to go downstairs in my house and work with a few dumbbells and a yoga mat makes it so easy and so much easier not to talk myself out of it. I feel so much stronger. I look better in my clothes. I’ve lost a good amount of weight. I’m looking more muscular, feeling just better overall and this just was a huge impact for me and I really needed it. I have never been challenged at such a doable level… even completed all but one workout throughout wedding planning & daughter’s wedding while she lived here! Im hooked for myself & how much easier i can lift and play with my 2yo grandson. I rewatch the videos almost every time to assure my form is correct. I listen to my body and increase as i feel i can wt or reps and back down with imbalances that could lead to injury. Clothes fit better! My posture in photos was much better too!
