EQUIPMENT
To get the best possible results from The Plan, we highly recommend having access to a full gym or a well-equipped home gym. This program was designed to closely mirror how we personally train when looking to build lean muscle and reduce body fat so it includes exercises that require:
✔️ Smith machine or squat rack
✔️ Cable machine
✔️ Leg extension machine
✔️ Hip abduction machine or cables
✔️ Dumbbells and resistance bands
✔️ Barbell and plates
If you’re training from home, we have included a modified version of the program using:
✔️ Dumbbells
✔️ Loop bands
✔️ Resistance bands with handles
✔️ Bench (preferably adjustable incline)
You’ll still get results with the home version - but to be transparent, some exercises (especially on back days) simply can’t be replicated without machines. I was hesitant to take on The Plan because I feared it would be too similar to the other two Megan programs I already own! Well I was wrong! This is literally everything I wanted it to be. I love the chest work. I love the changes of moves. I love that it still feels like a massive challenge but in a very doable fashion. These programs make me feel capable. Loving The Plan!! Finished 2 rounds of All I Want For Christmas is Glutes.
